Whenever you tap the little “i” to bring up the info for a specific feed and edit it, such as changing the name, etc., it creates multiples of the same feed and when you go to delete the multiples, the entire feed is deleted. Re-adding it within the app only creates more multiples, so the only way to get the feed back without multiples of it is to do so via the Google Reader website.

Hi Alicia,
Ah, this seems to only happen when your feed is not in a folder. If your feed is in a folder it should work without duplicating the feed.
I will fix this up for next release!

Also, I found if you move one of the duplicates into a folder, it will eliminate the duplicate entries. In case you wanted to fix them up without deleting and re-adding.
