There’s no way to turn it off, it is automatically applied if it is needed. If you turn OFF the following and use the standard IBM PC font, then sauce will not be added:

    • iCE Color
    • Legacy Aspect
    • 9px Font

    Hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for the detailed analysis! I think there may be some glitches with saving / loading .BIN files. There are a few things from PabloDraw v2 that didn’t make it into v3 yet it seems, such as specifying the .BIN width when loading (other than by using SAUCE). Otherwise, a .BIN’s width is assumed to be 160.

I’ll add this to my TODO list for next version to make saving/loading BIN files better.

PabloDraw can’t currently save to HTML. I’ll add it to my TODO list!

There’s no way to do this right now, but I’ll see what I can do about this for a future release!

    Thanks for the feedback!

This should do it for you:

    Uncheck View->Zoom->Fit Height

You could use the ‘pencil’ tool with the character you want.. it doesn’t continuously change the characters under the cursor and you can change the character it uses..

I agree having the undo for a whole brush stroke is a good idea, I’m not too sure the best way to implement this yet but I’ll keep it in mind.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    What version are you using?

All of these are already implemented in 3.1.2 – the windows size is saved, the folder bar size is saved, and the ability to open files with an argument is already available..

The ? denotes a non-standard code, which has been agreed upon by myself and others in the community to use ?33h/l as a way to turn ON or OFF iCE colours.

With iCE colours ON, it allows bright background colours (8-16).

With it OFF, the background will be the 0-7 equivalent colour and the foreground will blink.

    Hope this helps!

It’s not quite apparent, but you set the background colour to one of the brighter colours (8-16). In lieu of being bright, it will make the foreground character blink.

.asc is an ascii extension. It is unfortunate that synchronet has decided to use a very common extension for something that has ctrlA codes in it. This is why you must select the format type explicitly.

Alternatively, you can use the .msg extension which does not conflict with anything else and is supported by synchronet for ctrlA files.

There is also a config file at ~/Library/Application Support/PabloDraw/PabloDraw.config which has settings for which extensions belong to each type. You’d just remove asc from the ascii extension to always use CtrlA when loading .asc files.

PabloDraw is a single-window app and if you close the window, it does not close the file, but just hides the window. This is very similar to many other OS X apps, but not document-based apps. I am looking at adding os x document support to PabloDraw in a future version.

    Hi Joe,

Yes, when you are in the article preview it will let you email the entire preview text (It is called “Email Article” in the action menu). ┬áThis does not work when viewing in google/instapaper mobilizer(s), or as a web page.

The option can be toggled in Settings->Services->Email Article.

I will add a setting to pre-fill the email address in a future version.  There is an update coming to fix some issues with iOS 5.x, so it will come after that.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I’ve just submitted a new update (2.8) that should fix the crashing problems on iOS 5.x.

It should hopefully be approved within a week or so.
